Bockenbusch in Neunkirchen-Seelscheid

Great restaurant and very nice event location, delicious food, top service, always friendly, fast and a new menu with a lot of variety every week (in addition to the very good permanent menu). We have spent many great evenings here!

For me there will never be a better schnitzel - always a culinary delight! I can only warmly recommend the fries with truffle mayo and parmesan as well as the prawn pan!

I was already invited to a wedding there (it was a great celebration in the cozy half-timbered barn, with a bomb buffet and great service), I also like to eat there, cozy rather rustic decor, friendly staff and most importantly, delicious, appealing food. Waiting times and prices are reasonable, the menu is straightforward, which I think is very good, we live in a time where resources should be used carefully and sparingly.

In this place, I was allowed to be the ambience honestly fine! The greeting from the kitchen was a delight. Then went to the sun again in the evening 😉 The service works here with pleasure which I really like to testify. The food was good but not 100% The% deduction would be really subtle. The attention enhances everything. Do you have an invitation or event here? Then look forward to it. 👍📌

Good food, small but fine menu, good service

Friendly staff, reasonable prices. All take-away food. Fast preparation. Salad dressing, however, made too much vinegar. It would also be better to pack the fries separately from the meat. All in all: 3.5 out of 5 stars. So green.

Very good cuisine, highly recommended. From the outside it looks inconspicuous, but the large halls, the inner courtyard, the rustic room with the fireplace, the nice wait staff, can only be recommended. Table reservation is recommended.

A beautiful location in itself, a mix of rustic and modern elements. The menu is unusually clear. The prices are considerable, but the portions are generous. The long wait for food was made sweeter by a unique greeting from the kitchen. Otherwise, the extremely nice service was the reason why I give four instead of three stars.

We were allowed to celebrate our wedding in the half-timbered house and were completely satisfied. It was super cozy and really nice! Not only on the day itself but in general there is delicious food and great service in the inn. Micha gave us very good advice and gave us the opportunity to get an impression weeks before the wedding - even trying out the tables was not a problem weeks beforehand. He is simply a very personable person and always greets his guests personally 😊 A special thanks goes to Anni who did a wonderful job on our special day 👌 On the day before the wedding she was already a support and our contact person for open questions. Our friends and family were also very enthusiastic about her! 💜 We'll be back and not just on our wedding day 🥰

My wife and I celebrated our wedding at Gasthaus Bockenbusch. In retrospect, that was the best decision we made. The team... ... was always very polite and courteous. An almost friendly flair rounded off the process of the wedding celebration. Wishes and ideas were not only implemented directly during planning, but also in direct operation. The food... ... was perfect. Roast beef, turkey with bacon, rosemary potatoes, ratatouille as well as the side dishes and the dessert were just DELICIOUS. The food was great. It was served on point and covered all tastes. The tarte flambée bites were a big hit at the beginning and were plastered in no time! The planning... ... went smoothly and exemplary. The existing know-how and our wishes could be optimally combined. Micha, the owner, was always friendly, accommodating and helped wherever he could. The location ... ... was the old framework. The half-timbered building from 1876 is a real eye-catcher at celebrations. With the existing lighting, the whole thing is underlined again very nicely and gives a great flair. The room was ideal for our wedding celebration with 32 people! Our recommendation... ... clearly speaks for Bockenbusch! We can only recommend it to everyone 👍🏻

Here you are a special kind of guest. And the chef knows his trade. Every dish is served here with so much attention to detail. Everything is right here.

One of the best places I've ever been for traditional food. Fries and Schnitzel were just awesome. Incl. appetizer and salad. A must go for now on for me, every time when I'm back home in Siegburg, Germany.

I was on Christmas day with friends and family (22P.) For lunch in Bockebusch. From a small well chosen day pass we could choose our food. Beef, pork, fish and game dishes were available as well as a vegetarian menu. Price performance was very good. We were served very friendly and fast. Can just be recommended.

There is nothing to complain about at the Gasthaus Bockenbusch for Christmas Day 1 with a special menu. Very nice ambience. There was a delicious soup and a refined dessert variation for the successful main course. The service staff had everything under control and were friendly and courteous. Everyone tasted and enjoyed it. we would come back

Very well. The food is great and the staff and the boss are very nice. Here the visit is worthwhile and the day pass is great.

We went for a wedding reception. Super food on a very big BBQ. The Foto ist after the guests have had their food ;-). Also a nice barn location for events - not too big - not too small. All in all very recommendable. Just the location is a bit far from the city. Not much civilisation around that place. Taxi to Cologne for instance is not cheap.

We were here a few times for dinner and recently had our wedding here in their cute barn-style party room. I highly recommend it! Delicious german food (not your average...!) and friendly staff.
